VeloCulture Magazine = Bicycle Pornography

This is it, VeloCulture, a magazine about urban bike culture. The concept is Aaron's idea. Aaron told Lauren then Lauren told me. We all agreed Aaron's idea was awesome, so here we are. The basic idea is this: a cycling magazine that focuses on the urban cyclist lifestyle. Commuters, Messengers, Weekend Warriors, and Grocery Getters all have one obvious thing in common. We are here to give this community a voice, and when I say voice, I mean magazine.

Were trying to appeal to everyone; from the beginner wondering how to convert his janky road bike to a dependable fixie; to the daily rider lusting over a set of Phil Wood hubs. VeloCulture is geared towards certain aspects of cycling more than others, but hey, were here for the people. Everyone gets their chance in the world of VeloCulture, so if you think we are lacking in your area of interest, let us know. We want to find out how far we can push this thing. Expect How To articles, interviews, shop profiles, product reviews, stories, art, blah, blah, blah.

If you have any interesting stories or pictures, please, send them our way. We want to see your bikes and know your crew. We are always accepting contributions from our readers. Feel free to send us write ups and pictures of your local rides. We may not be able to make it to your home town, so show us the awesomeness of your crew and their rides.

If everything works out right, we will be able to bring you this fine publication on a regular basis. Expect plenty of pictures of things you didnt even know you were in to. If you like what you have read, tell a friend. If you think you can do a better job, write us an article. The less I have to write, the better. We have some grand things in the works, so stay tuned, this is going be interesting.
